What a year, but…
We are grateful for what we accomplished.
That’s why we want to write a few words about our 2020 Retrospective.
In the beginning, 2020 looked like a normal year. We started a project for the British International School of Timisoara – link here – and we planned and scheduled the next ones.
But guess what? The pandemic hit the world…
And our planning went away. Some projects were canceled, others got delayed…
Even if this news scared us all and forced us to get out of the comfort zone, we took a deep breath and we used the lockdown time to learn and grow both our minds and business. We read, took courses, watched tutorials, improved the experience on our website, and finished a passion project – Message from Mother Earth.
Btw, did you know that almost every project listed on our Work section has Before & After color grading frames and making-of photos? Find them by scrolling down under each video!
For us, things didn’t change that much. We were used to living and working together, so we didn’t have challenges with each other’s company. After lockdown, we jumped into a project which required us to go out in nature, far away from the city. A perfect place to recharge our batteries, breathe fresh air, and fly our drone.
Nature called again in summer with three agricultural projects. We were shooting Fendt tractors and combines from June to September and we spent a lot of time with some of the top farmers from Romania, learning their craft. This is one of the things that we love about what we do. The variety of people and fields we get to know and learn about.

Between these projects, we did another one for a private school in our city, located in Iulius Town, called Wendy School. We had only one day to shoot and we’re happy with what we got. If you’re curious, click here and hit play!
In September, we took a day off and went to the mountains. Spending time in nature is the best way to rediscover our connection to it. We hiked, laughed, and took photos.
Below are some of them shot both with the camera and the drone.
And some making-of…
As you may already guessed, we love wearing boots and spending time in nature.
After this trip, we got back to work and professionally speaking, we ended 2020 with a political campaign. One of the videos went national, and if you live in Romania, you’ve probably seen this one online.
At the end of December, we took a trip to Cluj-Napoca where we spent New Year’s Eve with a picnic in bed, watching fireworks. We went again to the mountains, and we spent a beautiful day with our friends and a lot of snow.
In conclusion, we’re grateful that 2020 was kind to us. Looking back at the 2020 Retrospective, we’re happy that we and our loved ones were healthy and protected, and that’s the most important thing.
Despite the fact that our industry had a lot of challenges, we had some cool projects (not all of them are listed here) and we met some great people too.
Cheers!
